Colombia interested in exporting coffee, flowers, medicine to Azerbaijan

Colombia is interested in exporting coffee, flowers and pharmaceutical products to Azerbaijan, the newly appointed Ambassador of Colombia to Azerbaijan Luis Fernando Cuartas Ayala said at a meeting with the Executive Director of Azerbaijan’s Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) Yusif Abdullayev, Report informs.

During the meeting, Abdullayev informed the ambassador about the main activities of the agency, including export promotion mechanisms, as well as investment opportunities in Azerbaijan.

The parties emphasized with satisfaction the existence of productive cooperation between AZPROMO and the Colombian agency PROCOLOMBIA, which promotes the tourism sector, investments and non-traditional exports.

The ambassador, in turn, spoke about the prospects for organizing the activities of Colombian companies in Azerbaijan. According to him, Colombia is interested in exporting coffee, flowers and pharmaceutical products to Azerbaijan.

In this regard, an agreement was reached on further exchange of information between the parties and to support the efforts of AZPROMO to coordinate the activities of entrepreneurs operating in Azerbaijan.
