Azexport aims to boost Azerbaijan's exports to US market

Azexport.az, the online portal operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), is determined to foster the growth of Azerbaijani exports to the United States.

According to Report, as part of this initiative, the portal has organized meetings between representatives of American companies and local Azerbaijani producers.

Currently, with the support of Azexport, Azerbaijan exports agricultural products and various confectionery items to the US.

According to the US Census Bureau, trade between Azerbaijan and the United States reached $660.3 million in 2020, with Azerbaijan's exports to the US valued at $24.4 million.

Last week, at the invitation of Azexport, representatives from several US importing companies visited more than 15 manufacturing and processing enterprises in Azerbaijan. The importers focused primarily on companies engaged in the production of confectionery products (cakes, eclairs, waffles, and cookies), mineral water, soft drinks, fruit juices, ready-made products, canned and frozen fruits and vegetables, spices, and dried fruits.
