Azerbaijan, WB mull new Country Partnership Framework

Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Taleh Kazimov met with Antonella Bassani, the Vice President of the World Bank (WB) for Europe and Central Asia, Kazimov said on X, Report informs.

The meeting took place on the margins of the CBA governor’s working trip to Washington for the participation in the Annual Meetings 2024 of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

“During the meeting, we discussed the progress made in the preparation of the new Country Partnership Framework for Azerbaijan and the strategic directions that will be covered. We also highlighted the important contributions of the WB's projects in supporting the development priorities and aspirations of our country. Additionally, we explored opportunities for further cooperation between the Central Bank and the WB,” Kazimov said.
