Azerbaijan starts importing rolling paper from two more countries

Over the first 11 months of 2022, Azerbaijan spent $10.2 million (37% more year-on-year) on importing 1,000 tons (25% more YoY) of rolling paper for cigarettes, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 503 tons of rolling paper from the United States for $5.656 million, 148 tons (+2.3 times) from Bulgaria for $1.248 million (+2.2 times), 78 tons (-41%) from Germany for $845,000 (+34%).

Last year, deliveries were made from the US and Taiwan for the first time in 11 years.
