Azerbaijan starts importing grapefruit from Mexico and Vietnam

In 2023, Azerbaijan imported 1,000 tons of grapefruit (-23%) worth $1 million (-15%), Report informs citing the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 687 tons (-39%) of grapefruit worth $550,000 (-39%) from Türkiye, 350 tons (+41%) worth $422,000 (+64%) from South Africa, 13.45 tons (-8%) worth $20,800 (-8%) from China, 3.6 tons (+64%) worth $10,300 (+48%) from Thailand, and 7.87 tons worth $9,400 from Mexico.
Azerbaijan imported grapefruit from Vietnam (1.2 tons worth $1,800) for the first time in 13 years (official statistics on foreign trade in open access since 2011).
