Azerbaijan starts importing beer from Bulgaria

In January-February 2023, Azerbaijan imported 33,700 decaliters (2.6 times more year-on-year) of malt beer for $492,400 (3 times more YoY), Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 9,000 deciliters (+3 times) of beer from Turkey for $115,000 (+2.7 times), 5,200 deciliters from Mexico for $101,600, 4,700 decaliters (+2.2 times) from Germany for $86,000.

This year, for the first time in the last 12 years, Azerbaijan imported beer from Bulgaria - 1,200 deciliters for $17,300.
