Azerbaijan starts exporting starch to 2 more countries

In 2024, Azerbaijan exported 3,000 tons of starch worth $1.25 million, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
This is 5.3 times more in value and 5.4 times more in quantity than the same period in 2023.
Last year, Azerbaijan exported 2,192 tons of starch (+10 times) worth $930,400 (+12 times) to Uzbekistan, 347 tons (supplies were restored after one year and one month) worth $148,000 to Turkmenistan, 397 tons (+17%) worth $150,000 (-5%) to Georgia, 45 tons worth $18,000 to Türkiye, and 22 tons worth $7,700 to Kazakhstan.
Last year, for the first time in 13 years (official statistics on foreign trade in public use date backe to 2011), supplies were made to Türkiye and Kazakhstan.
