Azerbaijan sharply increases perfume imports from 4 countries

In January 2023, Azerbaijan imported 158.4 tons (31% less year-on-year) of perfumes and eau de toilette for $1.7 million (13% more YoY), Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 4.3 tons (-74%) of perfume from France for $410,000 (-74%), 55 .62 tons (+8 times) from the United Arab Emirates for $346,000 (+3.4 times), 14.8 tons (+3.7 times) from Poland for $264,000 (+3.8 times), 22.51 tons (+6.6 times) from Turkey for $222,000 (+6.2 times), and 13.2 tons (+62%) from Russia for $185,000 (+33 times)

In 2022, Azerbaijan imported (from 28 countries) perfumes and eau de toilette for $26.512 million, of which $10.6 million came from France, $2.7 million from Italy, $2.5 million from Russia, $2.2 million for Spain and $1.6 million for Poland.
