Azerbaijan’s imports of notebook from China boost

Azerbaijan imported 848 tons of notebooks (made of paper and cardboard) worth $1.4 million in January-June of this year, respectively, up 4.8 times and 4 times from the previosu year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan purchased 483.2 tons (+13.4 times) of notebook worth $607,000 (+10 times) from China, 296 tons (+2.3 times) worth $588,500 (+2.3 times) from Russia, 18.6 tons worth $68,000 (there was no supply a year ago) from Ukraine, 39.4 tons (+3,900 times) worth $67,610 (+6,800 times) from Belarus, and 0.64 tons (there was no supply a year ago) worth $20,000 from Georgia.

Some 79% of the 1,590 tons of notebooks brought to Azerbaijan from 17 countries last year were purchased from China.
