Azerbaijan resumes refrigerator imports from Czechia

In January-September 2024, Azerbaijan imported 173,346 refrigerators worth $57.11 million, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

This is 5.4% higher in value and 5.6% in quantity compared to the same period in 2023.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan purchased refrigerators from:

- China: 72,738 units (+68%) worth $18.17 million (+85%)

- Russia: 37,917 units (-22%) worth $10.86 million (-15%)

- Thailand: 17,755 units (-9%) worth $9.22 million (-10%)

- Türkiye: 19,551 units (-19%) worth $8.21 million (-6%)

- Poland: 4,235 units (-42%) worth $2.26 million (-37%)

Azerbaijan has resumed refrigerator imports from the Czech Republic (17 units worth $11,700 ) after four years and two months.
