Azerbaijan resumes exports of polyethylene to Italy

In January–November 2023, Azerbaijan exported 139,419 tons of polyethylene worth $145 million, respectively, up 33% and 11.1% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 71,517 tons (+2.6 times) of the product worth $89.2 million (+2.1 times) to Russia, 36,647 tons (+0.3%) worth $29.9 million (-29%) tons to Türkiye, 24,503 tons (-6%) worth $19.4 million (-26%) to China, 3,486 tons (-16%) worth 3.2 million (-36%) to Ukraine, and 1,317 tons (-9%) worth $1.3 million (-32%) to Uzbekistan.

After 4 years and 10 months, Azerbaijan resumed supply to Italy (22.3 tons worth $55,000).
