Azerbaijan increases spending on corn imports

In 2024, Azerbaijan imported 85,286 tons of corn worth $24.06 million, according to the country's State Customs Committee, Report informs.
This represents an increase of 12,224 tons (16.7%) in volume and $3.239 million (15.5%) in value compared to 2023.
During the reporting period, the spending on corn imports accounted for 0.1% of Azerbaijan's total import expenses.
During the reporting year, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations worth $47.61 billion with other countries. Of the foreign trade turnover, $26.55 billion accounted for exports and $21.05 billion for imports.
