Azerbaijan begins peach exports to 3 more destinations

In the first half of 2025, Azerbaijan exported 13,956 tons of peaches (including nectarines), valued at $17.2 million, marking a year-on-year increase of 2 times both in terms of volume and value, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.
During this period, Azerbaijan sold peaches to:
- Russia: 13,324 tons (+94%) worth $16.4 million (+98%);
- Belarus: 149 tons worth $320,000 (no supply a year ago);
- Ukraine: 300 tons worth $315,000 (no supply a year ago);
- Moldova: 76.4 tons worth $61,000;
- Kazakhstan: 36.9 tons (-24%) worth $24,400 (-8%).
In 2025, Azerbaijan exported peaches to Georgia (39 tons worth $24,000), Mongolia (14.5 tons worth $11,600), and Moldova for the first time in 14 years, based on publicly available foreign trade statistics dating back to 2011.
Meanwhile, in 2024, 97% of the 56,404 tons of peaches exported from Azerbaijan went to Russia.
