Azerbaijan and Slovenia have expressed mutual interest in advancing pharmaceutical production, Anar Karimov, Azerbaijan's First Deputy Minister of Finance, during the Azerbaijan-Slovenia business forum, said, according to Report.
Karimov highlighted that the pharmaceutical industry aligns with the priority areas for both countries: "It is very gratifying that these areas coincide with our priority directions."
He further noted Azerbaijan and Slovenia's shared commitment to deepening cooperation: "Today, prior to the business forum, discussions were held between companies from both nations. This reflects not only the interest of the private sector but also the involvement of government representatives and ministries. It demonstrates Slovenia's progress toward higher achievements in technology, innovation, and IT sectors."
According to Karimov, broader discussions on collaboration will take place later in the day: "The agenda includes a diverse range of topics, with exchanges of ideas spanning economic, social, cultural, and tourism sectors."
