Azerbaijan stands for expanding the export of agricultural products to the markets of Türkiye and Europe, Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov said at the 11th meeting of the Azerbaijani-Turkish Executive Committee on Agriculture in Ankara.
Report informs citing the Ministry of Agriculture that the delegations of the two countries discussed the current state and expansion of cooperation in the field of agriculture.
Mammadov noted that Türkiye is a reliable partner of Azerbaijan in all areas, including agriculture. According to him, Azerbaijan and Türkiye continue effective cooperation in the field of agricultural research, cotton growing, seed production, veterinary medicine, agricultural insurance, etc.
As part of the visit to Türkiye, the delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan plans to visit the Eastern Mediterranean Institute of Agricultural Research, as well as get acquainted with the activities of modern irrigation systems controlled by artificial intelligence in the province of Adana.
