Liquid fertilizers of Azerbaijan’s AZCHEMCO LLC applied in experiments at Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture Ministry

Liquid fertilizers in 15 items produced by Azerbaijan’s AZCHEMCO LLC were used in experiments on various vegetable crops at the Research Institute of Vegetable Growing of the Agriculture Ministry, Report informs.

Liquid fertilizers used to meet the needs of plants in macro- and microelements in open and closed areas are supplied to Azerbaijan from abroad. AZCHEMCO LLC, specializing in the field of plant health, responding to the calls of the Ministry of Agriculture to meet the needs through domestic production, reduce dependence on foreign markets and minimize threats to food security, launched the production process of bioactive mineral liquid fertilizers with new compositions on 15 items, meeting high standards.

Full compliance of the analyzed liquid fertilizers with the presented compositions was confirmed in the laboratory of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) and in the Laboratory for Comprehensive Research at the Center for Analytical Expertise of the Food Safety Agency.

For the purpose of state registration, the produced fertilizers are currently being tested on various vegetable crops at the Research Institute of Vegetable Growing of the Agriculture Ministry on the proposal of the Food Safety Agency.

Referring to the preliminary results of experiments, our scientists confirm that the quality of production, physico-chemical and organoleptic indicators of liquid fertilizers produced by AZCHEMCO LLC are superior to their predecessors. Initially, liquid fertilizers tested in tomato, cucumber and pepper nurseries were applied by automatic spraying methods such as foliar application. According to the results obtained, the growth and development of the tested plants, their resistance to diseases and pests were high compared to plants in the reference plots.

Liquid fertilizers produced by AZCHEMCO LLC are an important means of plant nutrition in increasing the productivity of plants grown in open and closed areas, increasing their resistance to diseases and pests. The provision of 15 types of liquid fertilizers in order to grow high-quality vegetables, fruits, berries and other crop products is an important step in meeting the needs of Azerbaijani agriculture for such products and their export under the Made in Azerbaijan brand. So, when mixing these fertilizers with water in any ratio, no sediment, turbidity and crystallization are observed. This is what makes the presented fertilizers superior to their counterparts.

“We believe that the state registration and implementation of the use in Azerbaijan of 15 types of liquid fertilizers produced by AZCHEMCO LLC will be widely used in agriculture when growing high-quality and environmentally friendly products,” the company said.
