Belarus increases peach imports from Azerbaijan 11-fold

From January through July 2022, Azerbaijan exported 12,891 tons of peaches worth $16.381 million, respectively, up 18.5% and 19.7% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

In the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 12,625 tons (+18.7%) of peaches worth $16.036 million (+18.1%) to Russia, 189.4 tons (+11 times) worth $307,130 (+19.2 times) to Belarus, and 77.53 tons (+43) worth $38,320 (+8.6%) to Kazakhstan.

At the same time, Azerbaijan imported 140.82 tons (-70.5%) of peaches worth $243,000 (-70.5) in eth first seven months of 2022.

The country imported 100.46 tons (-44.1%) of the product worth $185,610 (-47%) from Turkiye, 38.78 tons (-86.3%) worth $45,450 (-87%) from Georgia, 1.19 tons (-24.2%) worth $9,500 (+23.2%) from Chile, and 0.4 tons (-61.5%) worth $2,470 (-47.8 times) the Republic of South Africa.
