Azerbaijan starts supplying melon from Vietnam

Azerbaijan imported 56.5 tons of melon (-38%) worth $42,200 (-43%) in the first half of this year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
In the reporting period, 32 tons (-43%) of melon worth $22,400 (-43%) were imported from Iran, 15.8 tons (-39%) worth $11,150 (-40%) from Turkiye, 6.45 tons (+2.4 times) worth $6,450 (+2.5 times) from Brazil, 1.1 tons worth $1,100 from Panama (supply was restored after 5 years and 5 months), and 1.05 tons (-79%) worth $1,050 (-77.8%) from Costa Rica.
This year, for the first time in the last 12 years (note: publicly available official statistics on foreign trade are up to 2011), supply was made from Vietnam (10 kg worth $20).
