Azerbaijan starts importing chicks from Czechia

Azerbaijan imported 22,830,780 live domestic chicks (weighing no more than 185 grams) (+3.4 times) worth $12.63 million (-0.7%) in 2023, Report informs.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan bought 10,194,533 chicks (-3%) worth $4.91 million (-7%) from Georgia, 11,908,186 chicks (+11%) worth 3,870 (+12%) from Türkiye, 680,861 chicks (-18%) worth $3.5 million (-3%) from Russia, 30,720 chicks (-35 %) worth $184,000 (-35%) from the US, and 14,000 chicks (+22%) worth $99,640 (+43%) from Spain.

Azerbaijan imported chicks from Czechia (2,400 chicks worth $23,580) for the first time in 13 years (official statistics on foreign trade are available until 2011).
