Azerbaijan starts exporting grape to one more country

Azerbaijan exported 7,288 tons of grape worth $4.687 million in the first three quarters of 2022, respectively, up 3.2% and 5.6% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
The countries that imported grapes from Azerbaijan include:
- Russia - 7,119 tons (+16%) worth $4.519 million (+14.4%);
- Ukraine – 128.5 tons (-86%) worth $144,220 (-70%);
- Belarus – 37.3 tons worth $22,270;
- Kazakhstan – 3.36 tons (+14%) worth $1,340 (+1.5%).
This year, for the first time in the last 11 years (note: publicly available official statistics on foreign trade are as of 2011), supplies were made to Belarus.
Azerbaijan imported 109.1 tons (+58%) worth 98,200 (+42.3%) in the reporting period. Below is the list of countries that exported grapes to Azerbaijan:
- Chile – 26.22 tons (+22.8%) worth $26,220 (+22.7%);
- Russia – 36.24 tons worth $25,370;
- South African Republic – 12.98 tons (-33.1%) worth $12,980 (-33.3%);
- Iran – 11.95 tons worth $11,950;
- Peru – 11.9 tons (-37.3%) worth $11,900 (-39%).
