Azerbaijan starts exporting cabbage to one more country

In January-September of this year, Azerbaijan exported 1,269 tons of cabbage (except cauliflower, Brussels sprouts and broccoli) worth $529,000.

According to Report’s calculations based on State Statistics Committee data, this is 31% more than the same period in 2022 in value terms and 28% more in quantitative terms.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 1.23 tons (+49%) of cabbage to Russia for $466,100 (64% more than a year ago), to Ukraine - 113.7 tons (+2 times) for $29,600 (+2%), to Georgia - 109 tons (-30%) for $21,800 (-39%), to Saudi Arabia - 1.8 tons for $6,900 and to Belarus - 20.75 tons (-77%) for $4,150 (-92%).

This year, for the first time in the last 12 years, supplies were made to Saudi Arabia.

Of 994 tons of cabbage exported from Azerbaijan (to four countries) in 2022, 69.3% came from Russia.
