Azerbaijan shares data on grape imports in 1Q2024

Overall, Azerbaijan imported 25 tons of fresh grapes worth $27,760 in the first three months of 2024, up 56% and 75%, respectively, year-on-year, Report informs, referring to the country’s State Statistical Committee.
In January-March 2024, Azerbaijan bought 14.4 tons of grapes (+4.1 times) from Peru worth $14,450 (+4.1 times), 8 tons (+38%) from South Africa worth 10,380 (+79%), 1.54 tons from India worth $1,540 (no supply a year ago), 0.62 tons from Namibia worth $620, 0.41 tons (+8 %) from Chile worth $410 (+8 %).
Azerbaijan resumed grape imports from Namibia after a break of 4 years and a month.
