Azerbaijan’s spending on sugar imports diminish

In January-May 2024, Azerbaijan imported sugar and sugar confectionery worth $ 86.076 million, 1.5% less compared to the same period last year, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan also exported $10.309 million worth of sugar and sugar confectionery, showing a 26% decline compared to a year ago.
In two months, the imports of sugar and confectionery made up 1.18% of the total imports of Azerbaijan, and the exports made up 0.09% of the total exports.
