Azerbaijan resumes soy imports from China

From January through September 2022, Azerbaijan imported 13,613 tons of soybeans for $9.329 million, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, these figures are 35.4% and 32.7% less year-on-year, respectively.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 13,438 tons (+94.3%) of soybeans from Ukraine for $9 million (2 times more than a year ago), 162.1 tons (-13.4 %) from Turkiye for $299,600 (-14.4%), 10.84 tons (-48.3 %) from Austria worth $24,370 (-35.6 %), 1.99 tons (+99 %) from India for $2,520 (+2.4 times) and 0.01 tons from China for $10.
Supply from China has been resumed after a gap of ten years and ten months.
