Azerbaijan resumes melon exports to Belarus

During the seven months of this year, Azerbaijan exported 441.92 tons of melons worth $277,250.
According to Report's calculations based on the data of the State Statistics Committee, this is a drop of 34.4% in terms of value and 21.7% in terms of quantity compared to the same period last year.
The country sold 262.71 tons (-34.8%) worth $221,180 (-44.5%) to Russia, 114,410 tons (+2 times) worth $34,230 (+3.2 times) to Ukraine, and 64,800 tons worth $21,840 to Belarus.
The supplies to Belarus resumed after a break of ten years and six months.
