Azerbaijan resumes barley imports from Czech Republic 

Azerbaijan imported 637.3 tons of barley worth $131,200 in January-June 2023, down 24% and 63%, respectively, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

Below is the list of countries that exported barley to Azerbaijan in the reporting period:

- Russia – 531.65 tons (-36%) worth $105,760 (-70%);
- Iran – 101.61 tons worth $20,940;
- Czech Republic – 4 tons worth $4,480.

Azerbaijan supplied barley from the Czech Republic for the first time in the last 12 years (note: publicly available official statistics on foreign trade are as of 2011).
