Tourism cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan should be more actively developed, Director of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of Kazakhstan Yerkin Tukumov said at a round table meeting on bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, Report informs.
He noted that the existing tourist flow from Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan and vice versa is insufficient and does not correspond to the countries’ potential in this area.
“We must look and seek new opportunities for the development of tourism. The opening of new flights from Astana to Baku, and the visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, which will take place in the near future, will give a new impetus to the development of our relations,” he said.
