Tourist flow to Azerbaijan up by 1%

In January-April of 2025, 735,884 foreign citizens and stateless persons visited Azerbaijan, marking a 1% increase year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country’s State Tourism Agency.
In April alone, 227,788 tourists visited Azerbaijan, which is a 7% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
During the month, most of the tourists came from Russia (53,073). Türkiye ranked second (39,417), followed by India (26,253).
In particular, 16,600 tourists came from Iran, 9,400 from Georgia, 7,900 from Kazakhstan, 7,800 from Saudi Arabia, 7,200 from Pakistan, 5,800 from the United Arab Emirates, and 4,100 from Uzbekistan.
