Tourist flow from Azerbaijan up by 26%

In January–November 2023, the number of Azerbaijani citizens who traveled abroad increased by 25.5% compared to the same period last year and reached 1,709,400 people, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
Some 44% of the country's citizens visited Türkiye, 21.3% - the Russian Federation, 9% - Georgia, 7.6% - Iran, and 18.1% - other countries. 65.1% of those were men, and 34.9% were women.
According to the Committee, the number of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who went to Russia, Georgia, and Türkiye increased by 1.5 times, 32.8%, and 21.9%, respectively, and to Iran decreased by 25.8%.
67.8% of the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited foreign countries by air, 29.8% by rail and car, and 2.4% by sea.
