Tourism industry loses $ 935 billion

The global tourism industry lost $ 935 billion in the first ten months of 2020 due to the pandemic-related restrictions, Report says, citing the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
In January-October, tourism facilities received 900 million fewer visitors than in the same period in 2019.
"This means that global tourism will return to the level of 1990. The number of international travelers is expected to decrease by 70-75% by the end of the year. In 2019, the number of foreigners traveling between the countries reached 1.5 billion people," the organization said in a statement.
