State Tourism Agency: Interest of foreign tourists in Western region of Azerbaijan has grown

Recently, the interest of foreign tourists in visiting the Western region of Azerbaijan by train has grown, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency, Fuad Naghiyev, told journalists, Report informs.

However, according to him, there is a shortage of hotels in that region.

“The Western region of Azerbaijan is an interesting tourist destination. Our destination management organization operates in the city of Ganja, and they have prepared the tourism opportunity project for the region. The region needs investments in accommodation facilities,” Naghiyev said.
