State agency organizes familiarization tour to Azerbaijan for Turkish tourism companies

A familiarization tour has been organized by the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau under the State Tourism Agency for representatives of six leading Turkish tourism companies, Report informs, citing the agency.

Participants were presented with Azerbaijan's cultural heritage, nature, and tourism opportunities, as well as the tourism potential of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Within the scheduled route, many locations with tourism potential were visited, from the Kangarli mountains to the Alinja fortress.

Also during the visit, guests held B2B format meetings with about 20 local tourism companies to discuss future cooperation prospects.

The number of visitors from Türkiye to Azerbaijan reached 389,173 people in January-November this year, which is 14% more compared to the same period last year.
