Seaside recreational centers to be created in Zigh and Hovsan settlements

Seaside recreational centers will be created in the Zigh and Hovsan settlements in the Surakhani district of Baku, Report informs, citing the master plan for the development of Baku until 2040.

The goal is to ensure the harmonious development of coastal settlements and recreation areas.

In addition, the master plan provides for the strengthening of the existing cultural and landscape values of the Absheron Peninsula. It is also planned to allocate larger areas for active recreation near large settlements.

The development of other main tourist sites will be ensured in addition to the traditional beach.
