Rustam Najafov: Turkic states to create joint ski training center

Turkic states will create a joint ski training center, which will be an important step in the development of winter tourism in the region, Chairman of the Union of Ski Resorts of the Turkic States Rustam Najafov said at the first summit of the union in Shahdag, Report informs.

He noted that the Union of Ski Resorts organizes joint events and promotes cooperation between resorts to attract tourists and implement PR campaigns.

"For us, the most important thing is for resorts with great potential to unite and create a joint ski training center, as this will lead to the creation of additional standards and will promote the resorts of the Turkic-speaking states on the world market," he said.

Najafov added that negotiations are underway in this direction - theoretical training will probably take place in Uzbekistan, and practical training in Azerbaijan.
