Russia's Association of Tour Operators named 10 best sights of Baku

Baku. 16 May. REPORT.AZ/ Association of Tour Operators of Russia named the top 10 places recommended to visit in the capital of Azerbaijan, Report informs.

"In recent years, the capital of Azerbaijan is in the list of most popular destinations for travel on holidays and weekends. The narrow streets of the Old Town easily coexist with wide boulevards, ancient - with ultra-modern," says the association's website.

The first is in the top ten "most striking buildings of recent times," is the creation of Zaha Hadid - Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center in Baku.

The second attraction is the Flame Towers. "With the platform in front of the Heydar Aliyev Center is well reviewed three glass skyscraper in the form of tongues of fire. Both arms of the city is particularly impressive, they look at night, building the flicker, then shimmer in different colors, showing in their LED-surface fire game", the website declares.

The list of recommended places to visit Baku also includes Nagorno Park, Seaside National Park, Baku Crystal Hall, Azerbaijan State Carpet Museum, Old City, Maiden Tower, Street 'Istiglaliyyat', Ateshgah and Gobustan complexes.
