Revenues of Azerbaijani hotels grow 75%

In the first quarter of 2022, the income of Azerbaijani hotels increased by 74.8% compared to the same period in 2021 and amounted to 59.7 million manats, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.

Some 54.4% of quarterly revenue was received from services for the provision of rooms, 30.8% - from catering services, 3.9% - from treatment and rehabilitation services, 10.9% - from the provision of other services.

The use of one-time hotel capacity in January-March this year amounted to 10.9% (7.8% in January-March last year). This figure was 85.5% in Shabran, 29.6% in Guba, 28% in Beylagan, 27.2% in Gusar, 26.4% in Naftalan, 20.5% in Agjabadi, 17.7% in Goychay, 17.7% in Sabirabad, 15.3% in Gabala, 14% in Baku, 13.9% Lankaran, 11.9% in Barda. In other cities and districts this figure was below the national average.
