Over 53,000 Azerbaijanis visit Georgia

A total of 53,331 travelers from Azerbaijan visited Georgia in January-May 2022, up 31,026 people or 2.4 times compared to the same period last year, Report informs, citing the National Tourism Administration of Georgia.

In terms of the number of visitors to Georgia in the first five months, Azerbaijan ranked sixth after Turkiye (199,945 people), Russia (156,910), Armenia (133,796), Israel (64,022), and Ukraine (55,630).

During the reporting period, a total of 1,180,034 international visitors visited Georgia, which is 3.5 times more than last year.
