Number of flights from Azerbaijan abroad up by 20%

In January-September this year, 20,165 flights were operated from Azerbaijan to 41 countries, which is 7 countries (20.5%) and 3,325 flights (19.7%) more compared to the same period last year.

Report informs, citing the State Tourism Agency, that during the reporting period, the most flights from Azerbaijan were made to Russia - 5,865 flights (+13.1%), Türkiye - 4,517 flights (+4.3%), and the United Arab Emirates - 2,301 flights (+31.9%).

The top 10 also included Georgia - 1,532 flights (+30.4%), Saudi Arabia - 660 flights (-7.9%), Kazakhstan - 637 flights (+4.9%), India - 495 flights (+4.6 times), Qatar - 444 flights (+62.6%), Kuwait - 331 flights (+20.3%), and Israel - 328 flights (+19.7%).
