New project developed to harness tourism potential of Eastern Zangazur

A new project is being developed to effectively harness the economic potential of Eastern Zangazur in the tourism sector, Ruslan Guliyev, Chairman of the Tourism and Services Commission under the National Confederation of Employers' Organizations of Azerbaijan, said.

Report quotes Guliyev as saying this year, participation in four international events aimed at promoting Azerbaijan’s tourism potential abroad is planned.

The commission also discussed the development of the industry’s human resources and reported the establishment of the Turan Gastro-tourism Academy in Sumgayit, offering 12 specialties.
