Kazakh, Uzbek tourism firms visit Azerbaijan to explore opportunities

A tour to Azerbaijan was organized for representatives of leading tourism companies from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan by the Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) under the State Tourism Agency, Report informs, citing the agency.

As part of the visit, B2B (business-to-business) meetings were held with the participation of more than 60 representatives from local tourism companies and hotels.

The delegation explored tourist sites in Baku and also traveled to Shamakhi and Basqal, where they became acquainted with tourism products, hotels, infrastructure, and services offered, including beach tourism on the Caspian coast.

In the first half of 2025, more than 68,000 visitors from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan traveled to Azerbaijan, marking a 15% increase compared to the same period last year. Direct flights currently operate from four cities in Kazakhstan and two cities in Uzbekistan.
