Hiking festival kicks off in Mongolia

The 2024 Hiking Festival has kicked off in the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar, Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.

The organizer is the Ulaanbaatar Tourism Department together with the Mongolian Hiking Association and the Mongol Olle Society.

More than 120 participants from Mongolia and more than 400 participants from the UK, US, China, the Czech Republic, Russia, Australia, Kazakhstan, Japan and South Korea have registered to participate in the festival.

For the first time, a walking tour of the capital is being organized as part of the festival.

This type of tourism has become widespread in many countries around the world.

The festival will last until August 25.
