Fuad Naghiyev: Number of domestic trips of Azerbaijani tourists same as when borders were open

The number of domestic trips made by Azerbaijani tourists is the same as when the borders were open., said Fuad Nagiyev, the chairman of the State Tourism Agency, Report informs.

"Currently, due to the quarantine regime in our country, we do not have tourists arriving by land, that is, tourists can only travel by air. We have temporarily lost tourists from neighboring countries crossing the borders on foot. We are waiting for the decision of the Task Force regarding the opening of land borders. I should also say that the closure of land borders has not had a serious impact on the growth of domestic tourism," he said.
