A world-famous traveler will swim the Caspian Sea for the first time!

Famous explorers Karl Bushby and Anjela Maxwell will continue their “Goliath” expedition by swimming across the Caspian Sea. They will make history by swimming from one end of the Caspian Sea to the other.

According to Report, the sea voyage will be organized and supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Baku City Circuit Operations Company.

It's worth noting that during the expedition, two young Azerbaijani swimmers - 15-time national champions Anastasia Boborkina and Abdurrakhman Rustamov - will swim together with the explorers.

A British citizen Karl Bushby and American Anjela Maxwell are well-known adventurers exploring the four corners of the world. Karl began this mission back in November 1998, covering a distance of 38,000 km. His colleague Anjela Maxwell has spent nearly the last 7 years traveling across 4 continents and 14 countries, traversing arid deserts and snow-covered mountains, and covering a total distance of 32,186 km.

The explorers plan to set off from the coast near Aktau in coming days, and reach Baku approximately within a month.

Karl and Anjela plan to continue their journey through Azerbaijan and advance towards Europe, concluding their expedition in Great Britain.
