Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia discuss tourism ties

On July 31, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan, Fuad Naghiyev, and the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Azerbaijan, Essam bin Saleh Al-Jutaili, Report informs, citing the agency.

During the meeting, Naghiyev provided information about Azerbaijan's tourism potential and existing tourism destinations, as well as measures implemented for tourism development.

The parties highlighted the importance of tourism in strengthening bilateral relations. They also exchanged views on cooperation opportunities in the tourism sector.

The ambassador invited the Azerbaijani official to the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) to be held in Riyadh on November 7-11, 2025, on behalf of his country's Minister of Tourism and the Secretary-General of the UNWTO.
