Azerbaijan Airlines soon to launch Baku-Seoul direct flights

Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) will operate direct flights to Seoul, South Korea, in May-July 2025, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's State Tourism Agency.

An event was organized in Seoul by the Azerbaijan Tourism Board to promote Azerbaijan's tourism potential.

It was noted at the event that direct flights between Seoul and Baku will be operated once a week, on Fridays, starting from May 2025. AZAL will operate these flights, which are planned to continue until mid-July 2025.

Speaking at the event, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to South Korea Ramin Hasanov stated that direct flights will contribute to the development of relations between the two countries and tourist exchange.

Representatives of Korea's tourism industry, media representatives, and influencers, along with representatives of Azerbaijan's leading tourism companies, participated in the event.

The number of South Korean citizens visiting Azerbaijan in January-October 2024 increased by 91% compared to the same period last year.
