Azerbaijan posts nearly 25% increase in average hotel prices in December

In 2024, the average price for a one-night stay in hotels of all-star ratings in Azerbaijan booked through booking.com was 154.3 manats ($90.76), up 24.2 percent year-on-year, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan State Tourism Agency.

In December alone, the average cost for a one-night stay in Azerbaijani hotels listed on booking.com was 149.7 manats ($88.06), representing a 24.7% increase compared to the same period last year.

For comparison, the average price for a one-night stay in Istanbul hotels from January to December was 166 manats ($97.65), which is 7.8% less than the same period last year. In Georgia, the average cost for a one-night stay in hotels during the same period was 133 manats ($78.24), showing a decrease of 9.2%.
