President's Cup 2022: Azerbaijan secures 25 medals on day one

The first day of the President's Cup 2022 Regatta dedicated to the 99th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev has ended.

According to Report, more than 100 athletes from Azerbaijan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Turkiye, and Georgia competed in kayak and canoe competitions in Sugovushan.

The Azerbaijani team claimed 7 gold, 10 silver, and 8 bronze medals in the competitions among teens and youth.

The regatta will end with academic rowing competitions to be held on May 7 in Mingachavir.
