Paris 2024 Olympics: Azerbaijani athletes join Parade of Nations

Azerbaijani athletes joined the official Parade of Nations held as part of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games along the River Seine, Report informs via AZERTAC.
Judoka Gultaj Mammadaliyeva and boxer Mahammad Abdullayev are Team Azerbaijan's flag-bearers at the opening ceremony for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
A total of 48 Azerbaijani athletes are set to compete across 17 different programs encompassing 15 sports disciplines during the global sporting event.
During the 19 days of competition, 329 events will take place during the 2024 Summer Olympics from July 26 to Aug. 11. The Games will bring together over 10,500 athletes competing in 32 sports, aiming to bag 329 medals.
