Five Azerbaijani taekwondo athletes reach CIS Games finals

Five Azerbaijani taekwondo athletes have advanced to the finals of the 3rd CIS Games, according to Report.
Among the men, Umid Rahimzada (54 kg), Ziya Hasanli (63 kg), and Eljan Aliyev (74 kg) secured spots in the finals. In the women's competition, Humay Dadashova (46 kg) and Maryam Mammadova (53 kg) also reached the final round.
The competitions are being held at the Olympic Training and Sports Center Kur in Mingachevir.
Additionally, six Azerbaijani athletes earned bronze medals: Tamerlan Yagubov (54 kg), Allahverdi Mammadov and Zeynal Aliyev (both 87 kg), as well as Salima Guliyeva (46 kg), Nilufer Borchi (53 kg), and Nargiz Kazimova (62 kg).
