Azerbaijan’s new sports minister enquires about work of Volleyball Federation

Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov has enquired about the activities of the Azerbaijani Volleyball Federation.

The minister met teenagers and young volleyball players and watched their training processes, Report informs. The minister was also interested in the conditions available at the Volleyball Federation.

The first vice-president of the federation, Faig Garayev, informed the minister about the activities of the organization, preparations for competitions, organization of volleyball groups in the districts, work with young athletes, difficulties, future plans of the federation.

The meeting was attended by Secretary General of the Federation Jalil Jafarov, Vice President Abulfas Huseynov, General Coordinator Zohrab Gozalbayli and the head coach of the national youth team, Alla Hasanova.
